In honor of my dear friend, Autumn Reeser’s new TV show, LAST RESORT on ABC, and the launch of her fabulous online magazine Move LifeStyle, I am featuring her wedding interview today.
1) What was the most memorable moment or aspect of your wedding?
Walking down the aisle and seeing my soon-to-be husband crying his eyes out! It honestly felt like we were the only two people there. It was the most beautiful warm spring day and we were married under an old oak tree– perfection to me.
2) What was the biggest hiccup?
We really didn’t have one, the whole day went smoothly!
3) If you could have done anything differently, what would it have been?
While we mostly happy with our wedding photos and our photographer was lovely, I do wish we would have hired a photographer that we gelled with more. A photographer friend shot our rehearsal dinner, and we like those shots more than the ones from our wedding, because he understood who we were as a couple and we really related to him! We’ve done numerous other family shots with him since, and it would have been great to have that kind of a relationship with our photographer on our wedding day. I would encourage brides to really find someone who they could see being a part of their lives for years to follow…
4) Any parting words of advice, wisdom or an anecdote that you’d like to share to future Brides?
The dress shopping experience was a really special time for me – my mom and I spent a couple weekends together on the hunt together, and we grew a lot closer as friends and mended some older aspects of our relationship. We’re incredibly close now and I credit that partially to all those special moments we had when we were looking for my dress!
Thanks for sharing Autumn!
