1) What was the most memorable moment or aspect of your wedding?
Oh my, it was all such a surreal day! There are SO many moments! I would have to say my favorite moment was right after the ceremony when my brand new hubby and I gave ourselves five minutes alone to just soak it all in! The second we got into the room we looked at each other and said- Wow, this feels good! We were both so blissful and euphoric in that moment we teased about wanting to do it again! We were so happy to be loved by the other!
2) What was the biggest hiccup?
Oh, jeeze, what didn’t go wrong! haha No, To be honest I’m sure there were a million things that didn’t go right that day but I didn’t notice or care. I was so excited and just soaking up every minute of this perfect day! Although, there was a funny thing that happened- we forgot my veil in the car at the hotel. Oops! Fortunately, My hubby’s family was in the later limo to the venue so we called our Best Man and asked him to grab it. They hadn’t left the hotel yet so he went to the valet and grabbed the veil out of our car to bring in their lime with them to the venue!! Oye! Our Best Man was amazing that day in many ways and making sure I had my veil was just one! Yaay!
3) If you could have done anything differently, what would it have been?
This is a hard one… I’m not sure! I loved everything! But if I guess if I could have done anything differently it would have been to get a videographer! I have a small amount of video from the wedding but you always want more! There are some really talented guys out there and I wish I would have had another way to remember this amazing day!
4) Any parting words of advice, wisdom or an anecdote that you’d like to share to future Brides?
Enjoy every minute from the second you get engaged to the rest of your life! Being married is awesome and the best thing EVER…so enjoy it! Yes it’s stressful and there are a million decisions to make, but it’s your wedding…HAVE FUN! You will have moments where you will feel totally freaked out and question every decision you have made over the past 27-34 years, and it’s really scary, but that is totally normal! Everybody feels that way but nobody tells you that part because all the joy and happiness that you feel that day and everyday following is so amazing you never worry about it again! Congrats Brides!
